Pilbeam Racing Designs Ltd. workshop contents, memorabilia & design sale
Harrisons Auction Centre is proud to present ‘The Pilbeam Racing Retirement Sale’, a dispersal auction of the Pilbeam Racing Designs Ltd. workshop, to be held on site in Bourne (Lincs) UK on the 19th Feb 2026.
After a lifetime dedicated to almost all areas of motorsport, Mike Pilbeam and his wife Wendy have decided to take their foot off the throttle.
Having secured an agent to look after existing Pilbeam customers, the contents of the Pilbeam Racing Designs Ltd. workshop are now being dispersed and will be sold off by auction on the 19th Feb 2026, on site at Mike Pilbeam’s workshop in Bourne (Lincs) UK.
Join us on the day in the workshop or online for what will be an exciting sale of not only equipment, tools, parts and machinery… but also some particularly special Pilbeam lots including wind tunnel models of Le Mans cars, original technical design drawings, one off pieces of memorabilia and the star of the day:
MP62-01 - a race ready single seater Hillclimb car with all the trimmings, the first of its kind made in 1991, and now the last to roll out of the Pilbeam workshop doors.
Whether you’re a racer, engineer, fabricator or just a fan of motorsport, now is the time to bid on a piece of history. From designing Bourne’s own BRM P201 Formula 1 car in the 70’s, to the iconic Ford RS200 Group B Rally car and legendary Le Mans and Hillclimb status, the interest and value in Mike Pilbeam’s contributions to motorsport will only increase in the coming years.
Make sure you don’t miss this one, it’s the auction everyone will be talking about!
